1. What size sleeve am I?
Arm and Forearm Sleeves – similar to your adult T-Shirt size.
Calf Sleeves – similar to your basketball short size.
2. Can I wash the sleeves?
- Yes. First remove the weights and hand wash the neoprene sleeve. Hang to dry.
3. How much should I throw/run/swing when training with Weighted Sleeves?
- Listen to your body. You are your best coach! You should be in good physical shape before training with the Weighted Sleeves. Furthermore, we’re not asking you to go out and throw 100 more pitches in your bullpen! Just put the sleeves on, perform your normal tasks, and see how much stronger you get!

4. Are Weighted Sleeves safe?
- Yes. When used correctly with good mechanics, the Weighted Sleeves will only build strength in the muscles you use most during your sport related motions!
5. Will the Weighted Sleeves disrupt my mechanics?
- No. Because the weights are placed on the larger muscle groups, the body biomechanically absorbs the weight. It’s as if your arm/calf/forearm is supposed to weigh more! Next, because you’re exercising with your normal game ball, your Autonomic Nervous System is not disrupted at all!!!
6. What sports are the Weighted Sleeves applicable to?
-All! Who wouldn’t want to throw or swing harder? Run faster? Jump higher? Yeah, that’s what I thought!

8. How long will my Weighted Sleeve hold up?
- This depends on the user. The neoprene material will never lose its elasticity so you should not experience a “stretching out” of the product. Because of the strength and frequency differences of each user, some sleeves will last longer than others. However, if you take care of your sleeve by keeping it out of the sun between uses and away from cleats and other sharp objects, your sleeve should last you well over one year.
*Manufacturer’s warranty against ripping of the stitching is good for 6 months.
9. Will the Weighted Sleeves be good for jogging or everyday exercises?
Yes! Our calf and forearm sleeves can be used to replace the outdated and ineffective efforts of the wrist and ankle weights. Wrist and ankle weights place all the weight at “the end of the levers” which is not functional and places a large amount of stress on your joints. However, the Weighted Sleeves strategically place weights on your larger muscle groups and closer to your “fulcrums” which drastically reduce the stress placed on your joints yet allow you to exercise with added resistance!
Fun Fact – For an easier way to slide your Weighted Sleeves on, try placing your hand/foot in a plastic grocery bag and see how easily the Phantom Sleeves glide on! Then remove the bag before you begin your workout!
